It was a headline that caught our attention: "14 ridiculous hotel amenities".

From surprise picnics in paradise and a chocolate parlor to pet goldfish and a frangrance butler, there are some creative amenities out there vying for attention (and bookings!) from prospective guests.

Our pick from the list of 14?  There were a few top contenders, but the professional recording studio available at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in California (#6 on the list) is our pick, purely for the fun value and the experience of being in the same studio as some of the best artists around.
