Welcome Rishona to the team!

Perfection Events Inc. is ecstatic to announce that Rishona Myers, JD has officially joined the team as Senior Project Manager. Rishona is a detailed oriented, strategic thinking, accomplished project manager who brings over 15 years of experience in developing client relationships and managing organizational and corporate events. Rishona has created and serviced meetings and events from concept to completion, negotiated and managed supplier contracts, developed event production timelines and complex multi-million dollar budgets, handled client and guest relations and staffed events.

During her career, Rishona has served as an in-house events manager of Hadassah of Greater Philadelphia, owned and operated her own firm focused on non-profit and social events—RM Creative Events Management, Inc., and most recently served as project manager with Ashfield Meetings & Events servicing prominent Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical accounts like Biogen Idec, Takeda Pharmaceuticals and AstraZeneca.

Rishona and Mazda first connected in the Fall of 2011. After meeting over a long cup of coffee, the future of the relationship was quickly forged and an invitation to join PE on a large upcoming project followed. Rishona was a key contributor to major projects in 2012 including Susquehanna Tower Grand Opening and the PA Convention Center Grand Opening Events. At the end of June 2015, Rishona left Ashfield Meetings and Events and began to again freelance with Perfection Events. When asked about her return to Perfection Events, Rishona offered, “I’m excited to be working with Perfection Events again. Mazda is an exceptional strategic business owner and meeting professional. She is a strong leader and role model in the community and I’m honored to be joining her team.”

Rishona holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Villanova University School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and studied Theater Arts at Penn State University. Her unique background allows her to excel in her ability to understand and interpret clients’ needs, apply critical and logical thinking towards complex projects as well as build strong relationships to ensure successful execution of meetings and events.

When Rishona is not managing her projects for work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, running and training for various races, photography and maintaining her passion for cooking with @TheSundayCook on Facebook and Twitter posting photos, tips and tricks, and of course scrumptious recipes.
